While tropical gear was just coming into the supply stores for the German army, it was not available for the servicemen until just after the Battle of Kreta. Also note the tropical pith helmets, also taken from British/Commonwealth supplies.-

It is intended for those who have an interest in this fascinating and illustrious part of human history.
